Originally founded in 1887, Troy University has expanded over a century and is now known internationally for its outstanding academic programs. The institution currently serves more than 14,500 students. On-campus housing can only accommodate around 1,800 students so the remaining 70% of the Troy Campus students are in need off-campus housing options. The charming city of Troy has a beautiful and vibrant downtown square filled with restaurants, antique shops, and local museums, as well as beautiful parks, quaint streets, Victorian homes, and historic sites. Troy University is developing two new state-of-the-art buildings to expand their campus.
